Oasis Family Medicine is a Direct Primary Care practice. It’s a unique approach to healthcare and our patients love it. So, how are we different?
Did you know that most Primary Care Providers have between 2,500-3,500 patients? Oasis Family Medicine has limited its practice to under 1,000 patients per provider. This means that your provider spends more time with you when you need her. It also means that when she is not actively seeing a patient, she is able to help coordinate your care and research your treatments. Your well-being is Oasis Family Medicine’s priority, and the reason for why we do what we do.
Oasis Family Medicine does not bill any insurance plans so you won’t have a middle-man in your primary care. Decisions about your healthcare will be made by you and your provider without the impersonal management that comes from third-party payers. Instead, patients pay a monthly membership fee which can save money and covers excellent treatment. Just keep an open mind, and you’ll see for yourself the value of this healthcare delivery model.
Oasis Family Medicine has established a straight-forward, tiered payment solution for our patients to receive high-quality healthcare at affordable prices. A detailed list of member fees and procedure costs is available here.
Each household is charged a one-time $50 enrollment fee and children from ages 0-18 must have a parent or guardian who is a member. (Minors enrolled without an adult family member are $50/month.)
Group rates are available for small businesses – call for more information.
Our savings are extended to you.
After hours, weekends, holidays – there’s no bad time to receive excellent medical care. When you contact your provider with a concern, we’ll decide together whether you need an appointment.
You won’t feel rushed through an appointment. We make time for you. Part of the relationship you’ll build with your provider is based on your understanding of your care. Now that’s what we call personal healthcare.
Because we have reserved our time for a smaller panel of patients, there will be no “squeezing you in.” You are a priority, and you’ll feel like one. We will do everything in our power to get you into the office the same day or next day when you have an urgent need. Routine visits are generally available within 1-2 weeks.
We’d love to see you in the office, but when that isn’t possible, we can arrange a house call.
You’ll be able to reach us and your medical information via phone, e-mail and text.
This exam will be fitted to your personal medical needs. It’s all about you, and your specific goals for wellness. A physical exam will be done, and appropriate tests will be ordered. We will also discuss all recommended health screenings.
For example, EKG, spirometry, breathing treatments, cryotherapy, and simple lesion removal are all included in your membership fee. If there is an extra charge for a service, you will know exactly what it is before proceeding. Learn more about our services here.
If you require a consultant for specialty medical care, Oasis Family Medicine will work closely with that specialist. Because we work with both healthcare systems in Topeka, the choice of specialist is ours to make together.
